Question 18

Why BigPetPal? What was the inspiration behind it?

Accepted Answer

The idea for BigPetPal was born from a very relatable experience! One of our co-founders found himself constantly bombarded with questions from his curious four-year-old nephew. Whilst many questions were wonderfully insightful, others were tricky to answer on the spot, and it was often a challenge to keep the child consistently engaged and direct his boundless curiosity. This sparked the realisation: wouldn't it be brilliant to have an AI companion that could be an always-ready, endlessly patient, and engaging friend, capable of engaging young minds through playful interaction? That's when BigPetPal began to take shape.
